Who is Leadership Accelerator designed for? This program is built for professionals in claims and litigation management who have recently stepped into leadership roles or are preparing for them. Ideal candidates have shown potential and are looking to accelerate their growth as people leaders.
What are ‘power skills’? Power skills are essential leadership competencies. They are transferable across roles and teams and are especially crucial in the complex, people-centric world of claims and litigation management. Mastering these contributes to making you a great leader.
What leadership topics will I explore? Each session focuses on one of the six key power skills:

- Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen
- Communication & Executive Presence
- Relationship Building
- Critical Thinking & Decision-Making

- Coaching & People Development
What is a Learning Circle? An opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss, reflect, and learn from each other’s experiences around the leadership and growth topics in Leadership Accelerator.
What’s the time commitment? For the virtual component, you can expect to commit 4–6 hours per month over the course of five months. This includes pre-reads, virtual fireside chats (1 hour), and virtual learning circles (1 hour). The CLM Annual Conference takes place in-person over three days.
What if I can’t attend a virtual meeting? Virtual sessions are interactive and intended to be experienced live. On the rare occasion that you cannot attend live, applicable sessions may be recorded.
Is the in-person event required? Yes, attendance at the CLM Annual Conference is a required component of the program, offering unique access to content and networking opportunities tailored to the cohort.
Does the price for Leadership Accelerator include the CLM Annual Conference? Yes, the only additional fees will be for travel expenses including hotel.
Where do I register for the CLM Annual Conference? We’ll take care of the details for you. And we’ll send you the scoop about the event as soon as it is published (early December).
Will I receive a certificate? Yes! Graduates will receive an electronic certificate and digital badge (via Credly). We’ll also provide suggested LinkedIn language so you can showcase your achievement.
Can I ask my company to sponsor me? Absolutely. We encourage participants to involve their employers, and we can provide a program overview to help you make the case for sponsorship.
